What a nice, sweet movie. Sophie is a writer but she is stuck being a fact finder. Sophie and her finance Victor go on a pre-honeymoon trip. But while in Rome, Victor is so preoccupied with planning for his restaurant that he doesn't want to sight see at all. Sophie decides to go sight seeing, when she comes across the Juliet wall. Where woman from all over the world, come and put a letter in the wall, hoping for a reply to there romantic problems. A lady comes up and takes down all the letters. Sophie falls her and finds the Secretariat of Juliet. They put her right to work writing letters to woman. The next day Sophie finds one that has been behind a rock for 50 years. She replies back. A week later Sophie is introduced to Claire, the older woman that she wrote the letter too. She has come with her grandson to try and locate Lorenzo, her lost love. so they begin their search. But to there dismay there is 74 Lorenzo's. Each day they go out on their search. Claire has given up hope, when she sees a young man that looks like Lorenzo did 50 years ago. but she is so dismayed that she gives up. But Charlie and Sophie ask and find out that he is Lorenzo, and his father and grandfather. and his grandfather comes riding in. And Claire sees that it is him. Lorenzo has lost his wife, and Claire has lost her wife. They decide to get married. but Sophie must go back to Victor. They return to New York, but everything is not as it should be, so Sophie breaks off the engagement and goes after Charlie.
This is a great Chick Flick. I recommend.
