Apollo by: Ronie Kendig

If you are a fan of Romantic Suspense, you will not want to miss Apollo.

Owen/Apollo has come back home after hanging up his military career. Coming from a line of special ops and military, it seems like a failure. Though he got into the program after two failed attempts, maybe he wasn’t made for that career. Then Owen is presented with the opportunity to use his skills to help rescue a kidnapped princess.

Owen finds himself acting as bodyguard for Leighton. They find themselves traveling with the group to Kenya in the Savannahs. Going on a safari and seeing all the wild animals in their element. Owen is tasked with getting Leighton set free, but it’s a dangerous situation with more at stake. In this high-intensity story, we have forced proximity, lion attacks, elephants to the rescue, intense chemistry, faith-filled, and more.

The setting for this book gave it such a rich element. I also loved reading the author's note and learning that this is based loosely on a true story of the vanishing princesses.

*I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book, which I received from the author. A positive review was not required. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
