Christian romantic suspense readers, this series is for you. I could not put Renegade down. Susan May Warren and Lisa Phillips have hit it out of the park with this multi-author series, with some overlapping characters from Chasing Fire: Alaska.

Everyone in Renegade believes Rowan “Hammer” to be dead. When he shows up in town, his old flame Sierra almost falls over in shock. But that isn’t the only shocking thing.

Someone is trying to scare off the Ranchers. Through stolen cattle and now contaminated water, where will these people draw the line? And will it stop before more people mysteriously turn up dead? Rowan jumps right into action. Everything his military training has taught him comes in clutch. Jumping to Sierra’s help is what he was meant to do. Rebuilding a relationship that was destroyed, and also building a relationship with her son, is going to be harder than Rowan imagined.
