His Ranch Redemption is the first book I have read by Laurie Winter. It was a fun read.
Pete could never stay in one place. He is always hunting down adventure. When Pete and Sarah eloped as teens right before Pete went off to basic training, everything seemed to fall apart then Sarah’s parents heavily encouraged her to get an annulment. Sarah was alone and lost their baby. Years have passed, and Sarah remarried. Her husband has passed away. Sarah is raising her daughter on her own while trying to keep her grandparents’ horse rescue afloat. When Pete shows up for a mutual friend’s wedding, Sarah and Pete find themselves working through their past, healing old wounds. Pete helps bring social media attention to the horse rescue and helps them meet funding goals. But at the end of Pete’s time, he must decide to go on to the next adventure or give his heart a second chance.
This second-chance romance was perfect and sweet with kisses only.
