This small-town romance has captured my heart. The Echo of Your Heart is the fourth book in the Welcome to Redemption, Alaska series written by Heidi McCahan. This book could be read as a standalone, though there are some overlapping characters from previous books.

Scottie and Tate are best friends. Scottie left Redemption because she is trying to prove she doesn’t need it. She has been filming reality TV shows, and her next assignment is in none other than her hometown. Going back is not an easy task. The filming elements were a fun dynamic in this book.

Tate has seen too many accidents and is trying to stop them from happening. Stemming from blaming himself for his father’s paralyzation, Tate is fighting for control. So, he is trying to stop the filming of the TV show because of all the accidents that are happening. But can he stop the accidents?

This best friend’s to more slow-burning romance was sweet with kisses only.

Heidi McCahan intertwined elements of faith throughout this story.
